Zugegebenermaßen ist die Upper Westside nicht unbedingt die hippste Wohngegend in New York. Aber es macht Sinn, wenn man hier oben auch zur Uni geht. Trotzdem halte ich mich lieber in Downtown oder Brooklyn auf. Trotzdem gibt es auch hier in der UWS auch einige tolle Plätze zu entdecken: Spaziergänge im Riverside Park, die Sonnenstunden vor der Low Library auf dem Columbia Campus, der beste Italiener New Yorks Sezz Medi' on Amsterdam Avenue(@122nd Street) or zum Brunchen das City Diner on Broadway (@90th Street). Um diesem Post zu schreiben und ein bisschen zu arbeiten, habe ich mich eben ins Max Café on Amsterdam Avenue (@122nd Street) gesetzt und trage obiges Outfit. Dem grünen Kaschmir Pullover aus der H&M Trend Kollektion konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen. Die Farbe, der Schnitt einfach alles erscheint so im 80er Style, dass ich ihn einfach haben musste und er passt wirklich so wunderbar zu meinen neuen Vintage Ohrringen. Abgerundet mit knallroten Lippen und rot lackierten Nägeln gibt das doch einen netten Effekt. Oder was sagt ihr?


Even though the Upper Westside is maybe not the hippest place to live, it is very convenient when you go to university up here. Still, I have to admit that I prefer spending my time Downtown or in Brooklyn. However, there are very nice places to discover in the UWS. Taking walks in the Riverside Park, chilling in the sun in front of the Low Library on the Columbia Campus, enjoying the best New York pizza in Sezz Medi' on Amsterdam Avenue(@122nd Street) or eating brunch in fabulous City Diner on Broadway (@90th Street). While I am writing this post, I'm sitting in the lovely Max Café on Amsterdam Avenue (@122nd Street) and wearing the above outfit. I love the green cashmere pullover from the H&M Trend Collection and just had to get it. The color, the cut and everything about it is just so 80ties that I couldn't resist. I just think it goes so well with my vintage earrings and I like how its color evolves if worn with red lipstick and red nails.
