I AM BACK IN PARIS. I can hardly describe how it feels to walk along the streets I've been walking up and down every single day last year. It's still the most wonderful city in the world and I can't believe it took me so long to finally get back here. I didn't plan on driving to Paris at all. I just jumped on the train Friday afternoon and arrived in Paris 6 hours later. I didn't have the time to really go shopping either. I went into Free'p'Star quickly last night and sure found something. It's the pair of shoes I am wearing. They are warm and wonderful - right choice preparing for winter. How do you like them? Did you ever do a spontaneous trip like this?

ICH BIN WIEDER IN PARIS. Ich kann gar nicht in Worten ausdruecken wie es sich anfuehlt wieder die Strassen entlang zu laufen, in denen ich mich das gesamte letzte Jahr bewegt habe. Paris ist immernoch die schoenste Stadt der Welt und ich kann es immernoch nicht fassen, dass meine Rueckkehr so lange gedauert hat. Mein Paris Trip war auch alles andere als geplant. Ich bin Freitag Nachmittag einfach in den Zug gesprungen und kam 6 Stunden spaeter in Paris an. Zum Einkaufen war auch ueberahupt keine Zeit. Ganz kurz konnte ich mich in den Free'P'Star schummeln und habe gleich das Paar Schuhe ergattert, die ich in den obigen Bildern trage. Total warm und schoen - der Winter kann kommen. Wie findet ihr denn die Schuhe? Und habt ihr auch schon mal so einen spontan Trip unternommen?

It's been an all dusty autumn day and I spent the whole day in the libary studying. I wore this black blazer I customized with some really cool looking buttons I found last week. Aren't they cool? I also love the bow. When I bought it I wasn't even exactly sure how to wear it. I guess there are multiple ways - but this is how I like it most! Besides all that I am pretty stressed out at the moment - probably just because the days the sun is shinning are getting less and less and I have so much university work to do. However, head up - cheer up. Today the weather seems to get wonderful. I really hope I'll get the chance to take some pics.

Ein richtiger Herbsttag war das - ganz nass und neblig und von morgens bis abends bin ich nur in der Bibliothek gesessen. Zumindest hatte ich mal wieder die Gelegenheit ein paar Bilder zu machen und zwar von diesem Vintage Blazer, den ich mit ein paar Totenkopf Knöpfen ein wenig customized hatte. Sind die nicht witzig? Auch die Schleife gefällt mir richtig gut. Obwohl ich gestehen muss, dass ich am Anfang gar nicht so richtig wusste, wie man sie eigentlich trägt. Es gibt wahrscheinlich viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten - mir gefällt es so ganz gut! Zurzeit bin ich ziemlich busy und auch schon ein wenig genervt von der ganzen Lernerei und: Wo ist eigentlich die Sonne hin?? Naja, heute wirds glaub echt schön! Also, Kopf hoch und weiter gemacht. I love to look around in the menswear section - and every time I do I end up buying something. Last year I found this great menswear cardigan. I usually wear it as a dress but it works as a jacket also. It's really comfy and a nice piece to wear on beautiful but cold days like this one.

Ich liebe es in der Männerabteilung zu stöbern und komme dabei nie drum herum mindestens ein Teil zu kaufen. Diesen Männer-Cardigan habe ich letztes Jahr bei Zara erworben und trage ich gewöhnlich als Kleid. Aber auch aufgeknöpft macht er sich ganz gut und ist wirklich das richtige Teil für schöne aber kalte Tage, wie diesen.

The day after Halloween and our fantastic Halloween Party my best friend and I went to the English Garden and enjoyed the autumn sun. It was such a wonderful and beautiful day and I finally had the chance to wear my leather shorts - definitely THE must-have for this autumn! What do y'all think?

Den Sonntag - der Tag nach unserer "schaurigen" Halloween Party- verbachten meine beste Freundin und ich im Englischen Garten. Es war so wundervoll sonnig und ich konnte endlich mal meine Leder-Shorts anziehen - das absolute Must-Have dieses Sommers, wenn ihr mich fragt! Was denkt ihr?

And again - I spend another day in the library wondering if this is ever going to stop ?!? I wore this old leggings I customized by cutting it. Otherwise I would have thrown it away - but this way I restarted to love it. With the grey tights underneath it and the warm cardigan it was a nice Study-Outfit but still something special I felt. What do you think?

Und schon wieder einen kompletten Tag in der Bibliothek verbracht - hört das denn nie auf ?!? Ich hatte eine alte Leggings an, die ich eigentlich wegwerfen wollte. Customized mit ein paar Schnitten an den Seiten gefällt sie mir jetzt aber wieder richtig gut. Kombiniert mit der grauen Leggings und dem warmen Cardigan war das auch alles richtig gemütlich - ein richtiges Lern-Outfit also und trotzdem doch was besonderes, oder? Was denkt ihr?

READY TO FALL FOR FALL

My cold is nearly gone and I almost caught up with all the university stuff I've missed being sick. This morning I even dared to pull off my coat in order to take those pics because I really wanted to post the shirt I customized with golden zippers a few weeks ago. The one zipper left over I used to sew a bracelet I really love how it all turned out. Right now I am crocheting another scarf and cannot wait to post it as soon as it's done!

Also I am so honored to have received the "Ein Herz für Blogs"- Award from wonderful Nicole and Stephanie from Streetrunway. Go look at their lovely blog!

Meine Grippe ist beinahe überstanden und ich habe auch schon fast wieder alle Uni-Sachen aufholen können, die ich während der letzten Woche verpasst habe. Heute Morgen ließ ich mich dann sogar dazu hinreißen meinen Mantel auszuziehen, um ein Bild von dem Shirt posten zu können, das ich vor einigen Woche mit goldenen Reißverschlüssen verändert habe. Am Ende hatte ich noch einen Reißverschluss über - der wurde dann kurzerhand in ein Armband verwandelt. Momentan häkel ich außerdem an einem weiteren Schal und kann es gar nicht abwarten ihn bald zu posten!

Außerdem riesig gefreut habe ich mich, als ich in meinem hoffnungslos überfüllten Email Account eine Nachricht von Nicole und Stephanie von Streetrunway fand, in der sie mir mitteilten, dass sie mich für die "Ein Herz für Blogs"-Aktion ausgewählt haben. Today I finally want to post the pictures taken at the Filippa K Event a few weeks ago by the wonderful Antonia from antoniaschreibt. She was so nice to send me her pictures since my camera broke down while Styleclicker Gunnar was "shooting me" :) But here they are and also the picture which he took of me and posted on his blog. I felt so honored!

Also I was really happy when I checked my emails last night and found a nice note from the amazing eco fashion label armedangels (see last post).
